In 2008, we created the BDL Convictions PEA fund to manage our own savings within the PEA tax framework. The management team at BDL Capital Management has been investing since 2005 with the same management philosophy: our strongest convictions at the service of your performance, while being vigilant with your and our assets. BDL Convictions takes up the ideas of the BDL Rempart long/short fund, created in 2005.
BDL Convictions is a Long Only European equity fund (EU + UK + Switzerland + Norway) actively managed and invested in companies with a market capitalisation or turnover of more than EUR 1 billion.
BDL Convictions, a PEA fund, aims to outperform the "Stoxx 600 Price" index with dividends reinvested over the recommended investment period, while seeking to limit risk.
The fund's performance is underpinned by a company selection process based on a fundamental approach and proprietary research. Our team of 16 analysts scrutinizes company accounts without bias to style, fashion or benchmark. They meet with over 1,500 companies every year. They systematically travel to the field to deepen their industrial knowledge and identify the right managers.
The BDL Convictions fund benefits greatly from our Long/Short expertise. We analyse the business models of companies as rigorously and accurately as possible and invest in the best ones when they are at the right price. The portfolio is concentrated on our strongest convictions: between 30 and 50 investments on average.
BDL Convictions invests at least 75% of its assets in equities/instruments eligible for the PEA.
BDL Convictions may invest in the following assets (up to 100% of the assets):
- Companies listed on regulated markets/indices in the European Union, Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom, with a turnover or capitalisation of more than EUR 1 billion (live securities or derivatives)
